I’m a writer working in different forms: plays, poems, short stories and film projects.

My work tends toward the darker side of life, but there is hope, heart and humour in the mix.

I like raising questions for an audience to chew on and explore the moral fault-lines – what we put up with and, where we draw the line – I’m fascinated by the trade-offs we make and am drawn to find the extraordinary in the ordinary and to celebrating the consolations of human connection.

I’ve been a lover of story for as long as can I remember and I co-founded and jointly-run, The London Writers Circle, a workshop group for writers. It’s proved an invaluable tool to help nurture and sustain my writing – it keeps me committed to deadlines, get written feedback, brainstorming support and share struggles and success stories with other writers.
